ADVANTAGES AT A GLANCE
DRIVING SAFETY TRAINING FOR CARS
Increase your driving safety with the experts at DRIVERS POINT
Between 3 and 9 months after the issue date of the driver’s license, all new license holders for classes A, B, and L17 are required to complete a driving safety training. A prerequisite for the training is that you have already completed the first refinement drive (not required for A and L17 license holders) at your driving school and that it has been entered into the driver’s license register. The driving safety training as part of the multi-phase training comprises a total of 6 teaching units (TUs), divided into a theoretical part (one TU) and a practical part (five TUs). On the same day, a traffic psychology group session takes place, where accident types and risks (e.g., risk-taking behavior) are primarily discussed. This group session lasts two times 50 minutes. OUR TRAFFIC SAFETY EXPERTS WILL ACCOMPANY YOU THROUGHOUT THE TRAINING. You will be supported by understanding psychologists and competent, friendly instructors. Experience challenging driving situations! Learn to recognize and successfully manage hazardous situations, such as braking on slippery roads and in curves, emergency braking and evasive maneuvers, and much more! Upon completion of the training, your driving school will enter the successful completion into the driver’s license register. Failure or non-completion of the driving safety training is not possible!
MOTORCYCLE DRIVING SAFETY TRAINING
Mandatory training for A-license holders
Increase your motorcycle safety with our specialized driving safety training – a mandatory part of the multi-phase training for all new A-license holders. The training must be completed within two to twelve months after passing the driving test. The driving safety training for class A includes six teaching units (TUs), divided into a theoretical part (one TU) and a practical part (five TUs). For class A, the traffic psychology group session lasts 75 minutes. This is followed by a hazard perception training session of another 75 minutes (three TUs). Benefit from our state-of-the-art training facility and improve your driving safety under realistic conditions. Each participant actively rides their own motorcycle and receives individual feedback.

ATTENTION
Please observe the deadlines!
If you do not complete these training phases within the required timeframe, the traffic authority will grant you a grace period of 4 months.
If this grace period is also not met, your probation period will be extended by 1 year. Failure to complete the training phases on time may result in the revocation of your driver’s license.
